At the meeting, VNU Vice President Nguyễn Hồng Sơn said that VNU and GSU shared a lot of similarities favorable for bilateral cooperation. VNU Vice President hoped the two sides would discuss and decide to cooperate, first, in the fields of the two sides’ strengths.

Also during the working session, a number of specific cooperation activities were suggested such as the design of short courses, summer courses to help students of the two universities increase their understanding, exchange culture as well as strengthen English language skills for VNU students. In addition, the two universities’ leaders agreed that the two sides would conduct scientists, staff and students exchange programs; develop joint research projects; jointly organize international seminars and conferences ... VNU and GSU will soon finalize the contents of cooperation and work toward the signing of relevant agreements.
