Innovation for training quality improvement
VNU’s teaching innovation deeply reflects the learner-centered philosophy, focusing on high quality individualized training. Lecturers increase their interaction with students to assist them in developing appropriate individualized learning plans to promote their capacities.

Teaching innovation at VNU aims at:

-  Enhancing lecturer’s autonomy

- Adapting to the Fourth Industrial Revolution

- Promoting students' creativity and entrepreneurship

- Exploiting multidisciplinary strengths

- Responding to the trend of higher educational institutions becoming autonomous

- Equipping learners with skills and transferable qualities

Teaching innovation at VNU has achieved a number of initial results such as more investment in facilities, equipment, instructional materials for teaching innovation activities; several VNU members’ training programs have applied teaching methods in accordance with the requirements of the credit-based modular system, creating favourable conditions for students’ active and autonomous study; new testing and evaluation tools have been used to monitor and verify student’s learning.
