11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis: 

- The thesis studies, classified and describes the formative structure of editorial discourse and the methods of organizing message of the discourse as a communication strategy, with typical characteristics from the formative structure to semantic organization structure.

- The thesis also studies utilization context and identifies the functions as the key utilizing motivation to perform the interpersonal, ideological and textual functions of the editorial discourse.

- The thesis identifies the relationships and relationship networks of arguments in editorial discourse via typical linguistics means mang tính thể loại to reflect, convey and impact on the recipients to achieve the best communication effect. 

12. Practical applicability:

- The research result of the thesis on the topic, topic structure and the method of organizing/analyzing topic relationship networks can provide reporters and editors with a comprehensive and systematic view when organizing, analyzing, processing and adjusting documents at all levels and types to make them more systematic, logical, clear and scientific/reasonable. 

- The result of analyzing the organizing methods and the linguistics means that reflect the interpersonal and impacting function of socio-political argumentative discourse contributes to the management of newspaper and publishing activities; support newspaper and publisher managing agencies in defining the strategy of utilizing languages on mass media; on the utilization of languages as a professional tool of politicians, diplomats, reporters and teachers, etc.

 13. Further research directions:

- To study the ideological - linguistic relationship in editorial discourse in particular and broadsheet newspaper in general;

- To study the aspects of structure and content organization of the discourse titles to achieve the best communication effects;

- To compare/contrast Nhan Dan newspaper’s editorial discourse with other types of newspapers and also the editorial in modern newspapers.
