11.1. About the theories of the thesis

Parental awareness research on mental health care for children with mental disorders provides additional scientific and practical basis for the fields of health psychology, clinical psychology, and medical psychology. child mental illness / disorder, child mental health care for caregiver target that is the child's parents. The thesis has systematic documents on disease awareness, mental health awareness, methods to improve the quality of mental health care. At the same time, constructing mental health concepts, child mental disorders, mental health care, parental awareness of mental health care. In addition, the thesis also approaches a number of theories that affect parents 'perception of mental health care for their children, factors that affect parents' perception of mental health care. Since then, building a theoretical framework of parental awareness about mental health care. The dissertation gives recommendations to contribute to raising awareness of mental health care for parents of children in the current context.

11.2. Practical results of the thesis

The thesis shows the reality of parents' awareness about children's disorder is limited and incomplete. Knowledge about the new disease is concentrated in knowing the name of the disorder, not being aware of the cause of the disorder; manifestations and symptoms of the disorder, as well as not being well aware of treatment, treatment, duration of treatment, therapy; underestimate the ability of the child. Besides, parents' awareness of care only focuses on academic and physical care rather than mental care when their child has a disorder. The thesis also points out the correlation as well as predict the relationship between parents' awareness and their care.
