The University of the West of England

The MOU was singed on 20 December, 2005
The University of the West of England (UWE) can trace its roots back to the foundation of the Merchant Venturers' Navigation School in 1595. The university is divided into four faculties which are then subdivided into departments: Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education, Faculty of Business and Law, Faculty of Environment and Technology, Faculty of Health and Life Sciences. UWE is the larger of the two universities in the city with around 30,000 students and 3,500 staff.
