Humboldt University of Berlin was founded in Berlin in 1810, and the foundation concept which Wilhelm von Humboldt had put forward made it the "mother of all modern universities". The University has 11 faculties: Faculty of Law, Faculty of Agriculture and Horticulture, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences I, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences II, Faculty of Arts and Humanities I, Faculty of Arts and Humanities II, Faculty of Arts and Humanities III, Faculty of Arts and Humanities IV,....Besides, The University has 13 research centers an 7 graduate school. Especially, the university is home to 29 Nobel Prize winners.
