VNU Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Councils play a consultative role for VNU President on scientific and technological activities and training in a specific field (or in a range of closely interconnected scientific fields) at VNU. The Councils also help propose solutions to improve the quality, effectiveness and scale of scientific-technological activities.
The Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Councils operate under VNU Council for Science and Training that is responsible for proposing development directions and solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of disciplinary/interdisciplinary scientific-technological activities. The Disciplinary and Interdisciplinary Councils have contributed to concretize the conclusions of VNU Council for Science and Training in the disciplinary/interdisciplinary fields.
