In 2023, VJU to open 02 more undergraduate programs with 430 new undergraduate students and 100 new graduate students.

Vietnam Japan University is on the track of rapid development and is receiving the support from phase 2 of the TC project for the Enhancement of Education, Research and University Management Capacity at Vietnam Japan University, sponsored by the Japanese Government. In 2023, VJU tentatively open the scale of undergraduate training and keeping a stable scale of graduate training.

Accordingly, VJU intends to recruit 100 graduate students. Those students will have the opportunities to receive scholarships from Japanese ASEAN Integration Fund JAIF, Yamamoto Fund, Fast Retailing and other valuable fund with amount valued from 50% to 100% tuition fees and some even supports the stipend or study fees. In aditions, students will have the chance to join the internship in Japan from at least 02 weeks to explore the academic research environment in Japanese Coordinating Universities,  The quota of new students is distributed as follows:

For the undergraduate programs in 2023, Vietnam Japan University continues to take the advantages of Japanese Education and Advanced Techonology and Engineering when opeing two new programs in Food Technology and Health (next part of the supply chain) and the Intelligent Mechatronics Systam and Japanese Manufacturing (Monozukuri).

At present, with gererous donation from Japanese Enterprises and Organization, Vietnam Japan University provide a variety of scholarship fund for about 20% of students. Also, students are going to have the chance to study in the international academic environment, improving their English and Japanese language skills and are convenient to join the student exchange programs with Japanese University in 01 to 02 semesters. There are 04 studnets are joining the exchange programs with Chuo University, 01 with Yamanashi University and 02 with Fukuoka Women University.
