VNU - IFI attends Francophone Admissions Counseling Day “Ma voie francophone” 2023

On the afternoon of March 11, 2023, the International Francophone Institute, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU - IFI) participated in the Francophone Admissions Counseling Day “Ma voie francophone” 2023 at Chu Văn An High School, Hanoi. The event took place successfully with the participation of nearly 500 attendants, university representatives, and other educational institutions of the Francophone Community.

On March 11, the French Embassy in Vietnam, for the first time, collaborated with the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), the Francophone University Agency (AUF), the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam, and Chu Văn An High School organized the Francophone Admissions Counseling Day “Ma voie francophone” 2023. This was an official event for students, and parents to meet with universities and educational organizations in the Francophone community in Hanoi. In this way, they can learn more about undergraduate and graduate training programs, internships, student exchanges, scholarships, and job opportunities for students in Vietnam and French-speaking countries.

The Francophone Admissions Counseling Day “Ma voie francophone” 2023 attracted nearly 500 participants, including students, parents, and more than 20 universities and educational organizations in the Francophone community in Hanoi. Also, there was the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam, the Embassy of France in Vietnam, the Francophone University Agency (AUF), the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), and other organizations in the Francophone Community.

At the opening, Mr. Nicolas Warnery, French Ambassador in Vietnam, declared that this was a great opportunity for pupils, students, and parents to step closer to universities and have free access to first-hand information about admission, scholarships, jobs, and so on. Thereby, they can make thorough preparation for their future study and career path.

At the event, many French-vibe performances were brought to the stage with rousing cheers from all the guests, students, and parents. One of them was done by a group of students from the SIM Master's program at IFI, with the support of students from the University of Transport and Communications, and left a good impression, highlighted by colorful flags, including Vietnam's, IFI's, and other countries' in the Francophone countries, presented on a joyful melody of 'Il y a un pays' from the Republic of Congo.

While the performances kept on going, counseling activities for students and parents were constantly done in every camp. In this event, IFI participated to give guidance on this year's admission to the 3 international Master's programs at IFI, associated with leading universities in France such as Normandie School of Management, University of Toulon, University of La Rochelle, including Master of Banking, Finance and Financial Technology (Fintech), Master of Information and Communication majoring in Digital and Editorial Communication (INFOCOM), and Master of Computer Science in Intelligent Systems and Multimedia (SIM).
