Located within the 1/500 planning campus of the Sports Centre Project (QG-HN07), the Sports complex is temporarily used by the Centre for Physical Education and Sports for outdoor sports and fitness activities integrated with event organization. The Centre is also directed to seek cooperation with local units in using the available facilities for sports activities. 

After nearly 8 months of construction, up to now, a number of sports fields have been basically completed and can be put into use for exercise, training, physical education teaching and sports tournaments for VNU’s staff and students. The Sports complex has officially come into operation with golf courses, football fields; volleyball, basketball courts; a pretty spacious fitness area and a scale, greatly different from the training grounds in the inner city. This sports complex contributes to enhancing green space for learners, officials and lecturers to freely experience while studying or working in VNU town in Hoa Lac.

The completed system of sports areas located within VNU Hoa Lac Campus ensures technical and quality standards with modern equipment such as lighting system, drainage system, grid security system, etc. Notably, the golf course has been completed and met the required technical standards with synchronous equipment such as a tee, wide practice line, frame and net post, a system of equipment for the practice field, golf lawns, lights, paths, essential buildings, exercise equipment, etc.
