On July 20th, 2020, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi held the 1st degree-granting ceremony in 2020 for 146 new masters.

Attending the ceremony was Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh (Rector of USSH) and leading representatives in charge of postgraduate affairs of the relevant faculties, institutes, and divisions.

The master's candidates major Journalism, Political science, Social work, Oriental studies, Theory - History and Criticism of Film and Television, History, Archival science, Linguistics, Anthropology, Science and Technology Management, Literary theories, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Office management, International relations, Psychology, Information science, Religious studies, Philosophy, Literature, Vietnamese studies, and Sociology.

On behalf of the University's leaders, Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh congratulated the new masters and their family members, friends and colleagues. The Rector expressed his hope in the future, the new masters will continue research at higher levels of education in the direction they have pursued, and effectively apply the knowledge they have gained in their career. The University is committed to continuing accompany and support the new masters in their future study and research journey.

At the ceremony, the Office for Political and Student Affairs announced Decision no 1235QĐ/XHNV dated July 15th, 2020 commending 03 master's candidates with excellent academic and research performance: Doan Canh Tuan (majoring Linguistics), Tran Tien Anh (majoring Science and Technology Management), and Nguyen Manh Nguyen (majoring Information Science).
