Developing digital university instructional resources

Last year, for the first time, VNU built a most comprehensive, complete and accurate system of digital instructional materials (including digital textbooks, reference books and the like) which were classified systematically for all subjects.

The total library usage in 2019 was more than 6.6 million, climbing 71% compared to that of 2018. More than 90% of readers are satisfied with VNU's library service.

With more than 40,000 academic documents and over 18,000 (excluding inventions and citations) of which indexed in Google Scholar, VNU's Endogenous Document Digital Library ranked the 174th globally by the indicator of endogenous document digital library at universities and institutes; and assumed the 189th position among the ranked endogenous digital libraries worldwide.

VNU’s Library ranked the 38th globally by the indicator of digital resources based on the large proportion of endogenous digital resources (dissertations, theses, research results, amongst others). This shows VNU’s strong investment in the development of digital resources for training and research, as well as for VNU’s university governance.
