Vietnamese students bag six medals at Asia-Pacific Informatics Olympiad 2023

On May 16, 2023, in Hoa Lac, VNU officially opened the Sports complex exclusively for staff, lecturers and learners. This sports complex is used for golf, football, basketball, table tennis and other outdoor events, ensuring the standards associated with green space in VNU town in Hoa Lac. -
Medal for the Development of VNU awarded to Founder of T&T Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of SHB Do Quang Hien
On May 11, 2023, VNU President Le Quan presented the Medal for the Development of VNU to Mr. Do Quang Hien – an alumnus of K24, Faculty of Physics at the University of Hanoi (VNU’s predecessor), Founder of T&T Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saigon – Hanoi Bank (SHB), in recognition of his contributions to the development of VNU. -
Promoting the establishment of the Centre for Japanese Culture and Language at VNU
On May 4, 2023, VNU President Le Quan had a meeting with Special Advisor to the Japan - Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Takebe Tsutomu during his visit to Vietnam to promote the establishment of the Centre for Japanese Culture and Language at VNU Vietnam Japan University (VJU) for diversifying the training of the university. -
Meeting on SYLFF Scholarship between Tokyo Foundation and VNU Hanoi and VNU Ho Chi Minh City
On April 14, 2023, at Lecture Hall HT1, a meeting between Tokyo Foundation, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNUHN) and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) on the management and usage of fellowship funding from the SYLFF Program took place.
