VNU Vice President Lê Quân awarded VNU Remembrance Medal to Prof. Christian GRELLOIS
Speaking at the ceremony, VNU Vice President Lê Quân congratulated Prof. Christian GRELLOIS and highly appreciated his contributions to the training and development of VNU School of Law in particular and the cooperation in higher education between Vietnam and France in general. VNU Vice President hoped that Prof. Christian GRELLOIS would make further contributions to VNU development, especially in international cooperation as well as attract more foreign professors to VNU School of Law as visiting lecturers.
VNU Vice President Lê Quân emphasized that Prof. Christian GRELLOIS’ working period at VNU was considered as the key to the success of the Master program in Economic Cooperation and International Business Law for more than 15 years.
At the ceremony, Mr Trịnh Quốc Toản, the Acting Dean of VNU School of Law, stated that as the Deputy Rector of the University of Bordeaux 4 together with his colleagues in Vietnam, Prof. Christian GRELLOIS contributed specially to the building and implementing of the first Master program in Economic Cooperation and International Business Law in Vietnam and in the region.
For more than 15 years, the program has trained nearly 300 graduate students from many countries including those from Francophone. Many of these have further studied both in and outside their countries and some have become prestigious lecturers, legal scientists and lawyers. It is said that the program supplies a large number of high quality human resources in law for Vietnam and other countries.
Expressing his honor to receive the Medal, Prof. Christian GRELLOIS showed his love for Vietnam and the Vietnamese among those were his colleagues and students at VNU School of Law.
Also according to Prof. Christian GRELLOIS, the Master program in Economic Cooperation and International Business Law at VNU school of Law was of the same quality as that in France.
