VNU has promoted digital transformation, application of digital technology, associated with advanced university management innovation, forming a safe, synchronous digital environment, connected throughout the inner city area and its new campus in Hoa Lac. VNU continued to complete and thoroughly deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as a basis for evaluating agencies, units and their leaders.

Along with that, VNU continued to promote digital transformation and application of digital technology to meet the requirements of fundamental and comprehensive innovation in training, scientific research and university administration, including OneVNU, MyVNU, VNUPortal.

VNU has boosted up digital transformation, focusing on learning materials, staff and student data digitalization; strengthening the implementation of online administrative procedures and implementing online training. Implementing the policy of the Standing Committee of VNU Party Committee, the Executive Committee of VNU Party Committee, the Council of VNU and the direction of VNU Board of Presidents on the pilot implementation of online training, VNU has directed its Institute for Education Quality Assurance to collaborate with VNU University of Law to develop online training content for the module "State and general law" from the 2023-2024 academic year. More than 4,000 students from VNU’s 5 training units, including VNU University of Science, VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU University of Economics and Business, VNU University of Education and VNU Vietnam Japan University, have studied this module. The module "State and general law" is a common module for full-time, non-law major students throughout VNU, demonstrating an important change in VNU’s approach to education - a change associated with online training, an important milestone in VNU's digital transformation process. In addition, the B1 English module jointly developed by VNU Institute for Education Quality and VNU University of Languages and International Studies in the form of online training will be taught to students across VNU from the 2nd semester of the 2023-2024 academic year.

The organization of online training for the module "State and general law" was the first step in building a modern, diverse, and effective online training model of VNU in the coming time.

VNU considers online training as a breakthrough method to innovate and improve its training quality, effectively implementing the learner-centered philosophy with an individualized education approach.
