On August 28th, 2022, ULIS-VNU organized the 60-year anniversary for Faculty of French Language & Culture “Faculty of French – One language – thousand opportunities”. This was a special occasion for ULIS and the Faculty of French Language & Culture where their alumni came back and met their friends and teachers.

At the beginning of the event, President Do Tuan Minh representing ULIS delivered his speech to start the ceremony. He highly appreciated the Faculty of French Language & Culture’s achievements over the years, affirmed the role of the Faculty to the society and national education.

At the ceremony, Faculty of French Language & Culture was honored to receive the Certificate of Merit from The Prime Minister recognizing achievements to the developments of the country throughout its 60-year history.

Dean of Faculty of French Language & Culture Dinh Hong Van shared his honor and pride to receive the Certificates of Merit, which proves a recognition from the national leaders of the effort of the Faculty over the years.

Representing the distinguished guests, Ms. Tran Thi Mai Yen – Representative of OIF – Asia Pacific, Director of Asia Pacific French Center shared her honor to participate in this meaningful ceremony and affirmed to cooperate with ULIS and the Faculty more in the future.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung – an alumnus said her happiness to be back at the school. She also hoped that French language at ULIS would become more and more popular and develop over time to achieve more goals in the future.

Previously, on August 26th, 2022, ULIS-VNU cooperate with International French Organization (OIF), AUF and France ambassy in Vietnam to organize an international conference ” Teaching – Researching French and Francophone Culture “. This activity was held as a part of the activities within the occasion with 60-year anniversary of the Faculty of French Language and Culture, this was also the start of UNC2023.
