Student exchange in the field of Semiconductor Technology

On March 8, the Vietnam – Japan – Korea student exchange program in the field of semiconductor technology has been organized at the VNU Information Technology Institute (VNU-ITI) with a joyful atmosphere, full of solidarity, exchange a sharing. This is a special program to enhance friendship between Vietnamese, Japanese, and Korean students, supported by the IEEE Circuit and Systems Society (IEEE CASS).

The Semiconductor Technology in Vietnam is growing strongly recently. Vietnam has attracted many the world’s leading businesses to invest and develop in this field. With the support of the government and regulatory agencies, the Semiconductor Technology industry in Vietnam has enormous potential to develop strongly in both infrastructure and research capacity. Universities in Vietnam are also promoting the development of training and research programs in this field to train human resources with good professional qualifications to meet the needs of socio-economic development.

The program creates exchange opportunities for students who are studying or have a passion for Semiconductor Technology between Vietnam, Japan, and Korea. Besides, this is also an opportunity for scientists to meet, discuss, introduce research projects, seek cooperation opportunities, and introduce new technologies.

On this occasion, Professor Tran Xuan Tu – Director of the VNU Information Technology Institute addresses his highly appreciation to the active participation professors, groups of students from KAIST (Korea), Chiba University (Japan), Tokushima University (Japan), Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Vietnam), and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. He expects that there will be many potential collaborations between the universities, professors and future scientific leaders between Vietnam, Japan, and Korea. This event strongly marks the friendship between Vietnam – Japan – Korea. From this success, we will make great strides in developing the groundbreaking field of Semiconductor Technology, connecting, sharing, and achieving greater success together in the next programs.
