On January 20th, 2021, the Faculty of French Language and Culture held a seminar under the topic “French Community Economy” (La Francophonie économique) with the participation of its lecturers, students and representatives of other oraganizations.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Dinh Hong Van, Dean of the Faculty of French Language and Culture, introduced the two guests, demonstrated the spirit of the friendship and cooperation between the Francophone Organization, the French Embassy and ULIS-VNU, and presented the reason and purpose of the seminar.
Mr. Étienne Rolland-Pìègue – Counselor for Cooperation and Cultural Activities, French Embassy in Vietnam emphasized the importance of French in promoting diplomatic relations, economic cooperation with other countries in the Francophone Community and raised 3 main criteria of Vietnam in international integration: culture, politics and economy.
Mr. Chékou Oussouman, Director of the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the Francophone International Organization (OIF), then presented the history of Vietnam’s relationship with the Francophone Community, diplomacy issues, the connection between countries and future cooperation projects.
