In mid February, 2021, Prof. Nguyen Dinh Duc - MIE's Director officially became a member of Editorial Board of MAZZ (German's Journal of Applied Mechanics and Mathematics, WILEY Publications.
ZAMM was established and first published in 1920. Editorial Board's members are of the world's outstanding scientists in the field of mathematics and mechanics. This magazine is in ISI's list, a prestigious one in Germany and the international mathematics and mechanics community. Research results sent to the magazine are seriously and closely reviewed.
In addition, Prof.Duc is also a member of 9 other international editorial boards including Journal Cogent Engineering (UK, Taylor & Francis Publishing House); Journal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices (Elsevier Publishing House); Journal of Science and Engineering of Composite Materials (De Gruyter Publishing House); Journal of Mechanical Engineering Science (Proc. IMechE Part C, SAGE Publishing House); Journal Science Progress (SAGE Publishing House); Alexandria Engineering Journal (Elsevier Publishing House); Journal of Mechanical Science and Technology (Springer Publishing House); Journal of Mechanics of Composite Materials (Springer Publishing House); Journal of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (WILEY Publishing House).
Being active in many prestigious ISI international journals from many different countries confirms Professor Duc's dedication to internaional research community and a benchmark of Viet Nam scientific research as well.
This event is an evidence of Vietnamese researchers' efforts who are doing their work in limited resources, both in teaching and in their labs, in order to come up with international research results. This is a fruit of renovation and integration in technology and education that Viet Nam has been implemented in recent years as well.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc is Vice President of Vietnam Association of Mechanics, cum Head of Training Department of Hanoi National University, Lab on Advanced Materials and Structures's Director and Dean of Faculty of Construction Engineering Technology - (VNU-UET).
At Vietnam Japan University, Prof. Duc is the Founder and Director of MIE. With his excellency and contributions in research, his achievements will be a great foundation to enhance scientific research and teaching activities in VJU in particularly and VNU in general.
