On March 31st, 2021, 8 candidates of the QH.2020 cohort representing the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture took part in the eighteenth Russian Olympic competition for first-year students of universities across the country organized by the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
The annual Russian Olympic Competition is one of the important activities to promote and widely disseminate Russian language and culture in Vietnam.
At the end of the competition, 6 ULIS students won first prize, including: Do Duy Hung, Duong Thi Thuy Duong, Dang Ngoc Khanh, Ta Nhat Vinh, Vu Hoang My and Man Hoang Mai.
The 6 students will study in Russia for 5 years and receive a scholarship and living expenses to study in Russia. In the near future, the students will receive certificates of merit for the winners at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
