VNU’s ten Batch 2 scholarship recipients are really excellent personalities, with many scientific works published in the world's SCIE list (ISI) Top 5% leading scientific journals. Those works have high practical application and if commercialized, they will make important contributions to solving ongoing practical problems, contributing to promoting the national socio-economic development.
The scholarship is valued at VND 100 million/year and VND 120 million/year for PhD students and post-doctoral trainees respectively.
Speaking at the ceremony, VNU Vice President Nguyen Hoang Hai emphasized that playing the role of a pillar in discovering, fostering and training talents for the country, especially in incubating young scientific and technological talents to become excellent lecturers and scientists, VNU has built and developed the "Young Talent Incubation Scholarship Fund" to provide PhD students and post-doctoral trainees with the opportunity to pursue their research for contributing to the development of education, training, science and technology of the country.
Up to now, 20 PhD students and 10 post-doctoral trainees have been awarded this scholarship. These scholarship recipients would be a talented human resource, a pillar of science and technology advancement.
