The 6th Congress of VNU Trade Union took place in the context of its employees’ efforts to successfully implement the Resolution of the 6th Congress of VNU Party Committee. The VNU Trade Union Congress must strive towards the goal of building a contingent of officials and employees on par with the requirements of the national development and comprehensive renovation; strengthening propaganda and education to encourage VNU’s staff and lecturers to do their best in study, at work, create and successfully complete the political tasks of VNU; taking the best care of the spiritual and material life and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the trade union members; making every effort to build a strong trade union; actively participating in the development of the Party and VNU as well as effectively contributing to the building and defending of a strong, civilized and prosperous Vietnam.
In the coming term, VNU Trade Union will aim to: continue to innovate its organization and operation for higher practicality and efficiency; actively participate in building a contingent of employees with good moral qualities, good professional skills; build a strong Party and government as well as develop VNU to meet the innovation requirements of the education sector and the whole society.

The 6th Executive Committee of VNU Trade Union for the 2023 – 2028 term was elected with 15 members.
The Congress also elected 16 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates to attend the 16th Vietnam Education Trade Union Congress.
