In the next session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu - Head of Office of Admissions and Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Viet Khoi - Director of International Education and Training Center shared information about international joint and exchange programs.

Following the talks by Ms. Thu and Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Viet Khoi is the seminar on painful experiences which the students might face in their youth, presented by MSc. Hoang Trong Truong - a young lecturer, who earned his master's degree in the UK and  lecturer  Dang Thao Quyen, who had learned in Australia for 8 years and Mr. To Tuan Dung - former student of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School, currently studying in Canada.

“During years of studying in UK, I learnt to do everything on my own. I was homesick and faced with many challenges but I also learnt to overcome them all. After that, I found a part-time job to pay for my expenses, my university requires frequent attendance and you can never cheat in exams. Overcoming the hardship was difficult but it helped me to get mature”, Hoang Trong Truong said.

"Studying abroad is not at all a comfortable experience as many may think. The higher living standards mean you have to try harder. I especially recommended the model of inbound studying, in which students can experience international education system while staying at their home countries. This model allows the students to stay with their families, reduce cost and experience education from developed countries”, Ms. Quyen, who has lived in Australia for 8 years shared.

At the end of the seminar, the students from Amsterdam High School had chances to take a tour around the UEB’s campus, which proved to be an interesting experience for them.
