On April 8, 2021, International School - Vietnam National University, Hanoi signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the VNU Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and VNU Information Technology Institute.
Amongst the attendants of the signing ceremony were VNU-IS Dean Le Trung Thanh, Director Trinh Thanh Trung of Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology, Director Tran Xuan Tu of Information Technology Institute.
Fostering cooperation with research institutes are addressed in the development direction of many universities nowadays. VNU-IS is also particularly interested in the cooperative relationship with research institutes to promotes the resources of the parties involved and foster staff exchange for joint research cooperation, contributing to promote teaching and research activities in VNU.
VNU-IS signed a cooperation agreement with the Information Technology Institute.
At the meeting, VNU-IS, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Information Technology Institute discussed in details the joint action plan in the near future. Specifically, in terms of research activities, the parties will implement joint research programs among experts, scientists, lecturers, and students, from which there will be joint international publications. The parties will together create a research community in the fields of information technology, biotechnology, biomedical technology. The research community will be in charge of connecting and building large, valuable research programs using reciprocal capital. VNU-IS, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Information Technology Institute will collaborate to organize international and domestic seminars for scientists to exchange their latest research findings.
VNU-IS also signed a cooperation agreement with the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology.
With regard to training activities, the Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Information Technology Institute will provide favorable conditions for VNU-IS students to do their internships in laboratories; support them in research activities with experts of the Institutes. On the basis of the partnership with Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology and the Information Technology Institute, VNU-IS hopes to expand its cooperation relations with other enterprises.
The Institute of Microbiology and Biotechnology is an affiliated member of VNU, founded on May 24th 2007, by the Decision 661 QD-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam. The establishment, construction and development of the Institute is based on the succession of scientific research activities of the Center for Biotechnology, during the period between 1996 and 2007.
