On the morning of November 14, the final of Road to Olympia 2021 was officially held at S14 studio and 4 bridge points of Bach Dang High School, Quang Ninh, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Nghe An; High School for the Gifted in Foreign Languages and High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences in Hanoi.
If in 2020, Nguyen Thi Thu Hang is the only female face in the final, this year will only be a competition of 4 boys. Those are Nguyen Hoang Khanh, Nguyen Viet Thai; Nguyen Thien Hai An and Nguyen Dinh Duy Anh. In which, Hoang Khanh is from Bach Dang High School, Quang Ninh, Duy Anh is from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, Nghe An, and Viet Thai and Hai An are all candidates from Hanoi National University.
Hoang Khanh was the first contestant to win a place in the final with the best result in the first quarter, 375 points.
Viet Thai – a guy who specializes in German confidently conquered each match and won the first prize in the second quarter with 295 points.
Nguyen Thien Hai An is the contestant who owns the highest final score of the 21st year when first in the weekly competition with 410 points and won the third quarter contest with 325 points.
Duy Anh showed boldness, breakthrough, explosiveness at decisive moments and won the first prize in Q4 with 250 points.
Finishing in third place with 155 points in the final round, Nguyen Viet Thai from VNU ULIS Foreign Language Specialized School contributed to making a mark in the more than 50-year history of FLSS. Although not yet won the laurel wreath, Thai has brought the school a great honor.
