To date, with 51,000 VNU-LIC digital objects indexed by Google Scholar, VNU’s institutional digital repository has jumped 767 places from the 816th place in January 2015, showing VNU’s rapid digitalization of learning materials and VNU-LIC digital transformation over the past 6 years.
The ranking of Cybermetrics Labs (under the Spanish National Research Council) shows that a high digitization level of VNU’s institutional digital repository, its Open science, Open to the World as well as the popularity and increase in citation of its academic resources, are important data sources for Google Scholar to index for search of scientific data and contribute to creating VNU’s digital author profile on Google Scholar, etc.
VNU Library - Digital Knowledge Centre has always identified digital transformation, materials digitalization, developing the Centre (the 2020 – 2030 period), applying digital knowledge management, turning big data into scientific knowledge, connecting and sharing digital knowledge to promote digital creativity, etc. as core tasks to accelerate digital transformation, develop digital and smart university now and in the future.
