On June 8th 2022, the Tanabata Festival 2022 was organized by JLEC - Japanese Language Education Center, a member of VJU, with the participation of many students and lecturers of the university.
Japanese Language Education Center (JLEC) - a member of Vietnam Japan University (VJU) was established to promote Japanese language education activities in Vietnam, with the cooperation between VNU Vietnam Japan University and Withus Co. Ltd., Japan.
JLEC will be a place to promote the strengths and capabilities of VJU and Withus, contribute to the improvement of the Japanese language training and education environment. In addition, JLEC is expected to be the organizer of Japanese official tests in Vietnam, a hub for providing business Japanese courses to a wide range of learners. With the cooperation between VJU and Withus, JLEC sets a further goal of developing high quality human resources that can play an important role in international business environments.
Tanabata Festival 2022 is the first activity organized by JLEC to celebrate the establishment as well as give students their first introduction of the center.
At the festival, the students experienced many Japanese cultural exchange activities such as learning about Tanabata culture, writing wishes on Tanzaku, enjoying tea... The festival was extremely exciting with the guidance of Ms.Shiori Kanda and Mr.Honda Hirotaka, 2 lecturers - experts from Japan of JLEC. The festival has also received enthusiastic participation from VJU lecturers and staffs.
