During the meeting, a group of students from the Bachelor program in Japanese Studies shared about their participation in the Nikkei STEAM 2023 Symposium "Student Summit: Future Earth Conference" with a Global Award for their project proposal on improving sanitation education for the poor in the pandemic.
Another group of students from the Bachelor program in Japanese Studies and the Bachelor program in Computer Science & Engineering talked about their winning the YOUth4RespBiz design contest sponsored by UNDP and UNIQLO. Furthermore, a group of master's students and faculty members presented their research activities at VJU.
Japan’s Crown Prince Akishino and Crown Princess Kiko listened to the students with great interest and were impressed with the great efforts of the students in providing solutions to global problems. VNU VJU will further strive to develop into a university capable of addressing global issues.
