On August 9, 2023, VNU President Le Quan inspected the study, work and living facilities of VNU’s member units in Hoa Lac.
In addition to the HT1 and HT2 lecture hall complexes (in operation since 2022) in Hoa Lac, VNU is completing the QG-HN04 lecture hall complex to meet the learning needs of thousands of students. The construction of the International School starts at the end of this year with a construction floor area of nearly 13,000 m2.
The QG-HN04 lecture hall and dormitory complex in VNU town in Hoa Lac will be put into use in September 2023
According to President Le Quan, in the 2023-2024 academic year, VNU town in Hoa Lac will welcome 6,000 full-time students, 3 times as many as last year from VNU University of Medicine and Pharmacy, VNU University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Vietnam Japan University, VNU University of Law, VNU International School, VNU School of Interdisciplinary Studies, the Pedagogical Division and High School of Education Sciences (grade 10 cohort) under VNU University of Education.
To meet the learning demand of a student body, triple the number of last year in Hoa Lac, VNU is completing the infrastructure and synchronizing the required functional facilities such as lecture hall, residence, research, physical education, utility services, health care, experience, etc. It is expected that by 2025, VNU’s Phase 1 facilities in Hoa Lac will have been completed, providing learning and research facilities for 15,000 students.
