On May 11th, 2021, VNU-IS Vice Dean Nguyen Quang Thuan hosted an online meeting with Mr. Mark Petrie, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Development, Keuka College, USA; as well as other colleagues from KC.
Attending the meeting were representatives of VNU-IS from the Office of Research & Partnership Development, Office of Academic Affairs and Department of Academic Foundations.
At the meeting, representatives of both sides engaged in open discussion for collaboration prospects of two new training programs: Bachelor in English Language (BEL) provided by VNU-IS, and Master of Science in Management (MSM) provided by KC. The BEL program is a newly developed program with degree awarded by VNU-IS to provide students with a high level of English proficiency and professional knowledge in business and IT, while the MSM program is delivered totally online by KC to provide VNU-IS students with a great opportunity to pursue high-quality postgraduate education under the context of Covid-19 pandemic.

On top of that, the parties also discussed plans for upcoming 2021 recruitment season. In support of the recruitment campaign of VNU-IS, KC agreed to provide promotional materials and gifts, as well as offer some scholarships and online courses for VNU-IS students to attract more candidates into the joint training programs between both institutions.
Founded in 1890 as a private, undergraduate and graduate, residential college and located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York State’s Finger Lakes region, Keuka College offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs on campus, across much of Central and Western New York State, as well as international programs in China and Vietnam. It has about 600 staff and lecturers, over 4,000 students, among whom 2,094 are international students. Regardless of degree or location, KC graduates boast significant, real-world experience that impresses employers and graduate schools.
It is hoped that in 2021, VNU-IS and KC will strengthen their cooperation and development which brings about fruitful result.
