Speaking at the opening of the seminar, VNU Trade Union Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thao said, “The seminar is a bridge of cooperation between VNU Trade Union and businesses in social security work for VNU trade union members through extensive cooperation between universities and businesses, between VNU Trade Union and business trade unions.

This is an opportunity for both sides to collaborate, share and develop, as well as to solve common problems for sustainable development.
During the seminar, VNU Trade Union Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thao signed a cooperation agreement with representatives of 10 businesses to organize a welfare purchase promotion program for employees named "Spring connection - Tet reunion", to help trade union members buy quality products at producer preferential prices. Businesses with suitable products/services will join and sponsor VNU Trade Union’s activities, including building, promoting, developing brands and reputation of VNU, businesses, entrepreneurs, goods and services of both sides; organizing training programs in conformity with the law to develop human resources for businesses as well as create internship opportunities for VNU’s staff and students; and holding discussions, exchanges between businesses and VNU to improve executive capacity, governance and professionalism in performing functions and tasks in conformity with the principles and targets of each party.
National Education Union of Vietnam Chairman Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An emphasized that the seminar was a meaningful activity between educational institutions and businesses. The discussion and the signed cooperation agreement would create a strong bridge of cooperation and a large market for businesses to provide high quality products to trade union members of VNU. He also hoped that businesses would further ensure the supply of quality products and have many preferential policies for VNU trade union members, and the two sides would develop together and join forces to serve the community.
