On the afternoon of June 27, 2023, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between VNU Vietnam Japan University and Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan was held online with the participation of representatives joining through Vietnam and Japan.
The ceremony opened with an overview of Shibaura Institute of Technology and Vietnam Japan University. Representatives of both sides, Dr. Yamada Jun, President of Shibaura Institute of Technology, and Prof. Dr. Furuta Motoo, Rector of Vietnam Japan University delivered their speech to share and decided to jointly sign a memorandum of understanding under the witness of representatives of both Vietnam and Japan.

The Memorandum of Understanding marked the beginning of a comprehensive cooperation relationship in aspects such as academic exchanges, student and staff exchanges, seminars, joint lectures, cooperation in research and training, as well as creating conditions for students of the two universities to have the opportunity to participate in graduate programs of both sides.
