On November 16, 2023, the signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding between Vietnam Japan University and Asahikawa City University, Japan took place at Vietnam Japan University, Hoa Lac campus.
The representative who spoke and signed the MOU for both sides was Professor. Furuta Motoo, Rector, Vietnam Japan University, VNU and Mr. TAKASE Yoshiaki, Chair of the University Board, Asahikawa City University.
At the signing ceremony, Vietnam Japan University and Asahikawa City University were also honored to welcome Mr. IMAZU Hirosuke, Mayor of Asahikawa City to attend.
Asahikawa University is located in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, with strengths in training majors in the fields of economics, health, medical care and welfare.
Cooperation programs between VJU and ACU include:
(1) Exchange of lecturers, administrative staff and researchers;
(2) Student exchange;
(3) Conduct collaborative research;
(4) Organize joint lectures, seminars and symposiums;
(5) Exchange of information and academic documents;
(6) Create opportunities for graduates of both sides to participate in Master’s or Doctoral training programs;
(7) Develop and implement other related programs on educational and research cooperation.
The two sides signed the agreement under the witness of Mr. IMAZU Hirosuke and representatives of the two schools.
